Big Day Planned

We wanted to go to Cascades National Park while we were in the northwestern part of Washington, but since that road washed out from the mudslide we figured we'd give them as much time as possible to get things cleaned up and then see if we could get through. This morning when Steve got up he checked on line to see what the progress on the road work was. Much to our disappointment the road work isn't expected to be completed before the weekend at best. So now we were scrambling to make another plan.

So we decided to go into Seattle again. We drove into town and today the traffic was rather light so that put Steve in a bit of a better mood. We walked around a little bit and there was a strip club on the corner. Now we had no idea we were in that part of town, but the woman that was out front told us it was one of the best places to eat in the area. They had a buffet that had surf and turf for $7.95 at lunch and we figured what the heck, nobody around here knows us. Well the beer was $1.50 for a pitcher and the waitress, that was wearing only a thong, kept refilling it for Steve when I would go to the buffet so I didn't realize how much he'd had to drink. I was trying not to pay too much attention to the show, however the music was pretty good. Well an announcement came over a loud speaker that it was time to switch things up, the girls were going to take a break and the guys were coming out. By this time the waitress and Steve were really chummy and he was shit-faced. Not a good combination!!! He started yelling "play Family Traditions, I'm a Professional, I know that one." We'll I guess the band actually knew "Family Traditions" and they were able to goad Steve into coming up on stage. I never laughed so hard in my life, until he tried to show the male dancers a thing or two, he is a "Professional". So now envision this, he is up there dancing around drunk as a skunk and he yells at me, "come on up, you can use the pole, you haven't done that since you gave up your act!" Oh I was going out of my mind I was so embarrassed, but honestly the chance to dance again was too tempting, so I just did one set.
After that we figured we better get out of there before we cause any more trouble. So I was trying to get Steve to walk it off a little bit, we went a few blocks but that was difficult cause he was really hammered. It was getting warm and we were across the street from a kids park with a splash fountain. Here's where the story really gets crazy. I don't know what we were thinking. Steve yelled "RUN" and ran and got in the middle of the splash fountain. He was yelling at me, "come on in, the water is great", I didn't want to get wet, but it was really hot now and the sun was shinning down. So what the heck, I went in too. We had the best time. We were splashing and yelling and having a great time. Then I noticed all the kids were gone and a group of parents were talking to two cops that had showed up. Well the cops started looking over at us and then they came over with real cocky attitudes. They started giving us such shit, well my back got up and I wasn't backing down, then they put Steve in handcuffs. I was yelling and they said that we were being disorderly and indecent, so I told them, "I'll show you indecent". About then Steve had gotten out of the handcuffs, they didn't have them on him well cause he was fighting them the whole time, and I started taking my clothes off, yelling "you want indecent, I'll f#€king give you indecent". Steve was yelling, "yeah baby, I'm right behind you", and he was taking his clothes off too.
So we have a hearing later today with a judge and I'm just going to tell him the way it was. We were having a good time playing in a splash fountain, that nowhere did it say it was for children only, and then 5-O comes along and starts hassling us and it went down hill from there. Our Public Defender things we have a good case if we don't let our emotions run away with us.
Hopefully I'll be able to give you more of any update tomorrow, Day 100 was a hell of a day!!!
P.S. My proofreader is sleeping it off so this one is unedited. Hopefully the mistakes are few.
