It Is A Gray Day

It was EXACTLY how you'd imagine a Washington state day, gray, rain on and off, on the cool side temperature wise, just iconic Pacific Northwest day. We had horrible traffic almost the entire route to Hoodsport. We passed several accidents along the way. I thing these people thought they were driving in snow instead of rain.
We had to drive south right through Seattle and I got a great view in a few places of the Space Needle. Of course I had to hang out windows in the RV as we are traveling down the highway, but I got one good shot of the Space Needle, so I'm happy. It was a crappy day to try to take a photo like that, the sky was completely gray, not a cloud, nothing, just a gray canvas. Oh well, again, it's iconic for the Seattle area, so I shouldn't complain.

The campground I was so concerned about turned out just fine. It is almost in the Olympic National Park and outside all you smell is pine. It is like walking past Christmas trees. We had our choice of sites and Steve took the best one and got us set up. It was a nice easy ride, just about three hours. We will have a nice early day and tomorrow our early plan is to go to Olympic National Park and see what we can see. Well you all have a wonderful evening. You'll be hearing from me again tomorrow, and a special thanks to Earl Simmons, Esq. and Barry from Barry's Bail Bonds.
I'm adding some of the photos that I took in Seattle and the Northern Cascades.
