Day 72

On Our Way To Sioux Falls

Well things couldn't be any better. We are on the road to Sioux Falls this morning, we didn't make a mad dash out this morning, we took our time and we got off plenty early. I would so much rather start the morning with a calm pace, the work-a-day traffic has already subsided, Steve doesn't have to worry that we are disturbing neighbors with our doors opening and closing and the engine running. Overall it is just a much better pace for us. Last night I made sure to download a few books from the library so that I have an assortment of things to choose from for the ride. So we are settling in for a nice ride. I'll have more updates along the way I'm sure. 

South Dakota

The GPS just announced the state border is ahead.  Wow, we are almost in South Dakota. I am looking forward to this, but then again there hasn't been one aspect of this trip I haven't been looking forward to. We went into the Welcome Center for South Dakota and we got loaded down with maps, brochures, tourism books, even a bag to carry them in. My gosh we are set!!!

We are at a nice campground, right off the highway, we are set up, we are cooled off, we have relaxed, we have had dinner, we are watching America's Funniest Home Videos (that little factoid is a little sad). The day is done. Just have to wait around till time to go to bed. 

We are going to go to another zoo tomorrow. I think that is zoo #11, oh my gosh!!!!! How many animals can two people see. We'll let you know how it goes.
