Lost Day?
Jun 19, 2013, 11:55 AM
We are back in the RV and I feel rather like I've just lost a day. Yesterday was so hard and all day long I was pining. Thank goodness I had the forethought to make yesterday's dinner on Monday. I was exhausted by the time we got to the campground and I wouldn't have wanted to have to make dinner.
This morning we had a challenge getting out of the campground. There was one row with campers on each side really only about two dozen sites in all and there was a hill coming in off the road then the upside of a hill getting to the campsites but Steve played it smart. He had a plan for getting out and we had NO issues. I say all of that very carefully cause it always seems to be when disaster befalls us. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed we have no problems and that makes it so much harder to type.

Steve and I are all set up, actually we have been for a while. I am making dinner already. We didn't bother with lunch. After dinner we are going to make a run to Walmart and then make our long range plans. I'm getting worried if we don't have something reserved for the 4th of July we might have trouble.
Friendly Walmart Employee Or Crazy Stalker Man
Jun 19, 2013, 7:45 PM
So after dinner and before figuring out our next step in travel we went to Walmart to get some odds and ends. We went in at the grocery end of the store. Steve saw that there was no one at the lunch meat counter so we got our lunch meat, God knows no one at the lunch meat counter almost never happens, so you jump on it when it does. As you leave the deli you are in the produce section. So this Walmart employee tells Steve, "I like your T-shirt. You must be a truck driver." This is rather odd, but Steve was gracious and said no he's not a truck driver. Then the guy asks where we are from. Steve tells him Florida. Somehow the conversation get around to the fact that we are in town in our RV. WELL THAT WAS OUR MISTAKE, now the guy wants to put us up in the back lot of the Walmart, "Let me call my manager.", the guy says. We tried to explain we didn't need a place to stay, but the guy kept insisting. We tried to get away, but to no avail. OH MY GOSH!!!! We are being stalked in the produce department of the Columbus Walmart. I must have said, "OK thanks anyway" about a dozen times. I think this guy gets a big bonus for finding campers to fill up the back lot. He followed us halfway across the whole grocery section!
So readers please, if my blog suddenly goes silent SEND HELP, we are prisoners at a Walmart in Columbus, Ohio.
I forgot to mention, tomorrow is the Columbus Zoo!!!!!!!!!
